not 3D— it’s involved though:
1. set petri dishes filled with yellow, blue, green food dyes on a pane of glass. filmed from below, with a white background mounted above. bounced small light onto the white background
2. projected this footage from directly behind LE1F’s back onto the rear wall of my living room
3. lit LE1F directly with one 650w fresnel video light, and from behind on both sides with six cheap LED flashlights that I conned a few friends into holding for me
4. shot with a 7D and this stupidly beautiful 85mm lens
